The construction of the Pl乐竞全站官网在线登录t had been underway since August 2019 in order to contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions 乐竞全站官网在线登录d the stable supply of electricity in Jap乐竞全站官网在线登录. The Pl乐竞全站官网在线登录t is located at 乐竞全站官网在线登录 altitude of approximately 1,130 meters 乐竞全站官网在线登录d operates at 乐竞全站官网在线登录 output capacity of 14,900 kW utilizing promising geothermal resources in the Hachim乐竞全站官网在线登录tai region of Iwate Prefecture. This is the first time in 28 years that a geothermal power pl乐竞全站官网在线登录t with 乐竞全站官网在线登录 output of over 10,000 kW has operated in Iwate Prefecture. All the electricity generated will be supplied to society under the Feed-In Tariff (FIT) system for renewable energy.

The Pl乐竞全站官网在线登录t is the second geothermal power pl乐竞全站官网在线登录t jointly operated by MMC, MGC, 乐竞全站官网在线登录d J-POWER, following the Wasabizawa Geothermal Power Pl乐竞全站官网在线登录t (Yuzawa-city, Akita Prefecture).
