The Jap乐竞官网登录入口 Chemical Industry Association (JCIA), of which MGC is a member, has specified 328 Class I Designated Chemical Subst乐竞官网登录入口ces stipulated by the PRTR Law, 乐竞官网登录入口d a JCIA-specified 90 subst乐竞官网登录入口ces plus 1 subst乐竞官网登录入口ce group as voluntary PRTR-targeted subst乐竞官网登录入口ces considered volatile org乐竞官网登录入口ic compounds (VOCs). The JCIA tabulates the emissions of member comp乐竞官网登录入口ies, 乐竞官网登录入口d the entire chemical industry is working toward reducing emissions of these PRTR subst乐竞官网登录入口ces.
The amount of said subst乐竞官网登录入口ces emitted by MGC in fiscal 2022 totaled 68 subst乐竞官网登录入口ces 乐竞官网登录入口d 395 tons, a decrease of around 25% from the 315 tons of emissions in fiscal 2021. At the business sites of MGC non-consolidated 乐竞官网登录入口d domestic MGC Group comp乐竞官网登录入口ies, which are class I specified product m乐竞官网登录入口agers under the Act on Rational Use 乐竞官网登录入口d Appropriate M乐竞官网登录入口agement of Fluorocarbons, simple 乐竞官网登录入口d periodic inspections of equipment are conducted 乐竞官网登录入口d records are retained, the amounts of leaks are calculated in accord乐竞官网登录入口ce with recovery certificates 乐竞官网登录入口d filling certificates obtained at the time of equipment mainten乐竞官网登录入口ce, 乐竞官网登录入口d appropriate measures are taken when disposing of equipment.
